RwandAir Ltd, Rwanda’s national airline, is inviting qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the position of Cargo Customer Services Agent. The position is based at Kigali International Airport – Town Office within the Cargo Department.

Reports to: Cargo Customer Services Team Leader

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should have:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Transport Management, or a related field.
At least 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in cargo, logistics, or airline operations.
Knowledge of cargo handling and airline reservation systems.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and as part of a team.
Fluency in English and Kinyarwanda. French is an added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Handling customer cargo booking requests and reservations.
Allocating cargo space according to customer requirements and availability.
Confirming reservations and providing shipment schedules.
Providing accurate cargo rates and quotations.
Managing booking changes, cancellations, and reallocations.
Monitoring and tracking shipments and updating customers.
Handling customer complaints and resolving service-related issues.
Preparing and maintaining accurate cargo documentation.
Coordinating with customs, warehouse, ground-handling, logistics, and other relevant teams.
Maintaining accurate records of cargo transactions and customer communications.
