The airline provides air transportation services connecting Rwanda with destinations across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and other regions.

As part of its operations, RwandAir is seeking qualified and competent candidates to fill the position of Driver.

Job Purpose

The Driver will provide safe, reliable, and professional transportation services to RwandAir staff, guests, and authorized passengers.

The position also involves maintaining company vehicles in good condition, following traffic laws and safety requirements, and providing customer service that reflects positively on RwandAir.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

Driving company vehicles safely, comfortably, and punctually.
Transporting staff, guests, and authorized passengers to and from Kigali International Airport and other designated locations.
Following scheduled routes and transport instructions.
Keeping company vehicles clean and in good operating condition.
Maintaining daily mileage and vehicle maintenance records.
Inspecting vehicles before use.
Driving assigned routes to various work sites, educational institutions, medical facilities, and other designated locations.
Assisting passengers when getting into or out of vehicles.
Providing professional customer service and maintaining the company’s image.
Complying with all traffic laws and other applicable regulations.
Planning routes according to crew rosters and requests from the Head Office or guests.
Picking up and delivering items and couriers when instructed.
Performing any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

Secondary A Level Certificate (A2).
At least 3 years of proven driving experience.
Be below 35 years of age.
Have a valid Driving License Category B and D.
Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy.
Be flexible and adaptable.
Have a strong customer service orientation.
Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Have a professional attitude and good presentation skills.

Fluency in English or French is an added advantage.

Required Driving License

Category B Driving License
Category D Driving License

Candidates should ensure that their driving licenses are valid at the time of application.
